I was pleased to see VNExpress International publish this article by Paul Olivier. The dire situation that he describes applies to many cities and towns throughout Vietnam. Be sure to have a look at the comments.

Paul criticizes because he cares passionately about environmental pollution and poverty. I would add that he also has the solutions to many related problems.

I look forward to seeing the Vietnamese translation on VNExpress. That is obviously the primary target audience.
