Dear Friends & Colleagues,
Wishing all of you and your families a joyous holiday season and a New Year filled with peace, love and happiness!
While Viet Nam is predominantly a Buddhist country, there are Christmas trees and decorations everywhere and many people get in the holiday spirit. This includes thousands of people milling around St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hanoi, for example, while Christmas Eve Mass is being celebrated inside. In some ways, this is the beginning of a holiday season that culminates in the most important cultural celebration of the year, Tết (Lunar New Year), which falls on 25 January 2020 and lasts into February.
In spite of the many challenges we all face, in some countries more than others, my staff and I reflect on 2019 with a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment, and look ahead to 2020 with great anticipation and excitement.
Most of all, we’re grateful for the meaningful personal and rewarding professional relationships we have with so many of you, and the opportunity to be of service to so many students and parents in Viet Nam.
Mark Ashwill, Managing Director & Co-Founder, & Team Capstone Vietnam, Hanoi & HCMC
Shalom (שלום), MAA
