Deflection: ‘It’s complicated.’ Creates fog to delay moral clarity.

False Balance: ‘Both sides are to blame.’ Erases power and responsibility.

Revisionism: Rewriting history, sanitising textbooks, bending public memory.

Institutional Denial: Governments, media, platforms suppressing truth at scale.

At the base, it looks harmless. At the top, it cements impunity. But it’s all the same spectrum of violence: denial.
