A Sweet Sight for Tired Eyes

After the usual two-hour flight from Hanoi to HCMC, arriving at 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning, I had a good feeling when I turned on my phone and did a quick search for “US election”. What I saw in English and Vietnamese was the icing on the cake of what had been a good day with our first fall flex-fair in Hanoi.

Follow this link to read a post about an article I was asked to write for VNExpress, a top 10 media outlet here. I provide some background information about my view of the US two-party system and its limitations. (Spoiler alert: I haven’t played the two-party game in a very long time.) Or, if you wish to skip the commentary and go directly to the article, follow this link.

While I’m not sure what the future holds for the US, I’m happy that a majority of US voters solved one pressing problem, the removal of a malignant narcissistic and authoritarian president and his cruel, corrupt, and incompetent administration. A bonus of this official disappearing act includes his family from hell. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
